About UsThe History Navigator is currently a desktop application, displaying data of an historical nature extracted from Wikidata. This is the first tool developed from a concept that I've called "Structured History," a system of tools and data for representing, analyzing and displaying historical information that has been structured in some manner. In the fall of 2014 I discovered the Wikidata project, which was doing exactly the kind of structuring of data I had in mind. So, this is the first tool developed to integrate Wikidata's historical data into the "Structured History" concept.

Who We Are |
"We" is really me - there is no staff involved in the project at this time, but my hope is that a number of collaborators may be interested in developing these ideas further.
